Admin - Students tab and Importing Students from CSV

The Students tab for Admins

Term (top right)

• Defaults to the current term. 

Student List

• Includes any student assigned to a class in the term selected. 
• Student Name: links to student profile where you can download attendance and skill tracking reports for any class the student has been a member of in the school. 

Import button (top right, below term)

• Students will be imported into a school and be available to add to classes. 
• Upon upload, the students won't be displayed on the Students tab until they have been added to a class.

To securely import students from csv spreadsheet:

Note: You can only import into one school at a time. You must have a separate import spreadsheet for each schools. CSV template file is available in the app on the import screen and is linked at the bottom of this article.

1. Log in as Account/District admin role (school admin does not have access)

2. Click on My Organizations tab at top of the screen

3. Click on the desired account/district name from the list

4. Click on the Students tab (see image above)

5. Click on Import button (see image above)

6. Select the correct school for the list of students (see image below)

7. Click on Chose File to locate the import file (template file link available at bottom of this article)(see image below) 

8. After selecting the file, confirm the import list and click on Continue Import. (see image below) 

9. Confirmation screen will appear or a screen showing errors.

10. If errors, fix the errors and import again.

11. If successful, go to Students tab. (see image below) 

12. Students are now available to be added to RAP groups for teachers in that school.
