Drill questions can be added to students’ 95 RAP™ instruction at any time except mid-assessment. Drill questions are used in the Drill component to review skills previously introduced and as an opportunity to build students’ oral language skills.
Educators must select or create drill questions to use the Drill component. Educators adding drill questions are intentional and provide an opportunity to individualize instruction.
Adding Questions
To add drill questions for a student in 95 RAP, complete the following instructions.
1. Click on Manage next to the class from the My Classes page.
2. Click on Manage within the tile of the desired student.
3. Click the Add Questions button on the right-hand side of the page.
4. Complete the Add Questions modal.
Add Questions Modal
Drill questions can be pulled from the question bank or customized to fit students’ needs within the Add Questions modal.
Bank Tab
The bank of questions for WAT 001 Consonant Names is displayed by default.
The word attack (WAT) list displayed can be changed using the drop-down below the Bank tab. Note that current WAT lists will be indicated as such within the drop-down.
The student’s WAT history for the selected list is displayed in the Word Attack History section to help identify skills the student needs.
Questions from the bank can be selected to correspond with student errors. Mark the checkboxes alongside each question to add them to the student’s instruction. Note that current drill questions will be indicated as such and display grayed-out checkboxes.
Once added, the question(s) will be added to the bottom of the student’s Drill tab for visibility into their current drill questions. Drill questions can be modified and deleted at any time by clicking the ellipsis icons within the question rows.
Custom Tab
The Custom tab is used to add drill questions not included in the Bank tab.
Enter the custom question and answer in the Question and Answer fields, respectively.
Click the + icon to add the question to the student’s instruction. Repeat this process as needed.
Click the Add Questions button once complete.
Once added, the custom question(s) will be added to the bottom of the student's Drill tab for visibility into their current drill questions. Drill questions can be modified and deleted at any time by clicking the ellipsis icons within the question rows
