Keyboard Not Appearing - Troubleshooting Solution

We have heard from other teachers experiencing this keyboard issue, and believe it is an issue with iPad iOS and the technology used in the 95 RAP App. There are articles on the Apple forums and other resources, but we are troubleshooting the best way to get the keyboard working again. The troubleshooting scenarios below are recommended on software websites and by teachers, who have reported that it fixed the problem.
 
Please try each of these troubleshooting scenarios separately to help us determine which solution(s) work with your situation. These may be temporary solutions until we have a permanent solution.
 
#1: 95RAP Web App in installed mode as the only app running on iPad
 
  1. Force quit all apps on the student iPad by double pressing the home button and swiping up all the apps. 
  2. Launch the 95 RAP app shortcut from the Home Screen on the student's iPad and login as a student with the class PIN code. 
  3. Use the app during your 95RAP session to see if the keyboard is working.
 
#2: 95RAP Web App on Safari as the only app running on the iPad
 
  1. Force quit all apps on the student iPad by double pressing the home button and swiping up all the apps. 
  2. Launch the Safari app on the student's iPad. In the browser window go to https://rap.one95.app and login as a student with the class PIN code. 
  3. Use the app during your 95 RAP session to see if the keyboard is working.
 
#3: Uninstall the 95 RAP app shortcuts from the Home Screen and use Safari app to use 95 RAP with the students.
 
  1. Uninstall the 95RAP Web App from your student's iPad
    • If you are able to uninstall apps from your student's iPad, tap and hold the 95 RAP app shortcut on the Home Screen  and when the app starts to wiggle, tap the minus button to remove. (You can also delete apps in the settings.) 
  2. Restart the iPad by holding down the power button to turn it off and then press the power button to turn it back on.
  3. Launch the Safari app on the student's iPad. In the browser window go to https://rap.one95.app and login as a student with the class PIN code.
  4. Use the app during your 95 RAP session to see if the keyboard is working.
